About the Role

Are you ready to make a difference in your community? Join our team at Meli as a Program Administration Officer!

As part of our team, you will provide essential administrative and program support to our Supervised Contact Service and other vital programs, including School Readiness and the Employee Assistance Program.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Government Funded Children’s Contact Service (CCS) and our Fee for Service Family Engagement Service (FES), creating a safe, supportive, and family-friendly environment for supervised contact visits for children and young people of separated parents.
  • Ensure our Government-funded Children’s Contact Service offers families a neutral location and supportive environment for facilitated changeovers for children.
  • Assist in implementing the School Readiness Funding, a Victorian Government initiative aimed at addressing educational disadvantage and supporting children’s development. You will help kindergarten programs acquire high-quality items from a menu of evidence-informed programs and supports.
  • Collaborate with organizations to provide support to employees through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). You will facilitate access to confidential counseling services for employees facing issues affecting their wellbeing, whether personally or at the workplace. Our qualified Meli professionals offer counseling over the phone or face-to-face.

Vacancy Details

  • Part time fixed term position till 10 October 2025
  • 0.6 FTE working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
  • $73,961 p/a (pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging

About You

  • A certificate III in Business or similar or demonstrated experience in a similar role, incorporating office administration, data entry and invoice and account management.
  • Demonstrated experience working autonomously and self-managing workload to ensure a timely response to requests.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment, learn new processes quickly and update work practices to reflect changes.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, client information databases and knowledge of a range of IT programs.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and ability to demonstrate a respect for sensitive information and personal details.
