About the Opportunity
Join us in delivering the Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification Response (FPRR), a collaboration between Meli and Cultura. As part of our team, you’ll provide rapid, evidence-based support to help families stay together and reduce the need for Out of Home care. You’ll partner with children, young people, and families facing challenges such as mental health issues, substance use, or family violence, using a culturally safe, strengths-focused approach. Guided by frameworks like Family Decision Making, you’ll lead care planning and case management, empowering families to overcome obstacles and build a brighter future.

- Fixed term position until 30 June 2026
- 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
- $97,614 p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

About You
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in social work, psychology or equivalent – Degree or diploma level.
- Developing understanding of Child and Family Services and the Child Protection system, relevant legislation and court orders
- Knowledge of methods used when delivering a community-based service including evidence informed frameworks, strengths-based practice, and risk/needs assessments with families.
- Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships and partnerships to further agency objectives and improve client outcomes.
