Governance, Quality, and Performance Specialist – Youth Housing
Drive impactful change and ensure excellence in governance, compliance, and performance within a youth housing context.
About the Role
As the Governance, Quality, and Performance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening Meli’s commitment to delivering safe and compliant housing services. You will:
- Lead governance and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to the Victorian Housing Regulation and quality standards.
- Oversee policy implementation, reporting, and risk management frameworks to support housing services.
- Develop partnerships and deliver training to build capacity among teams working in housing and homelessness.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by ensuring compliance and empowering teams to deliver excellent client outcomes.
This is a vital leadership role offering the opportunity to influence the future of housing services within a values-driven organization.
Position Details
- Permanent, ongoing position
- 0.6 FTE working 45.6 hours per fortnight
- $106,644p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

What We’re Looking For
To excel in this position, you’ll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in social science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in housing standards, tenancy laws, and regulatory compliance within the community services sector.
- Strong skills in interpreting legislation, policy development, and compliance systems.
- Experience in delivering training and working collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A commitment to child safety and creating inclusive environments for diverse communities.
