We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caseworker – Care Services to join our dedicated team. In this role, you’ll help ensure children and young people in home-based care or Targeted Care Packages receive the support, stability, and care they need to thrive.

About the Role

As a Caseworker – Care Services, you will:

  • Provide case management for children and young people in foster care, kinship care, or independent living arrangements.
  • Support and supervise carers to ensure safe, nurturing, and high-quality care environments.
  • Collaborate with care teams, government agencies, and service providers to develop and implement care plans.
  • Monitor the wellbeing and progress of children in placement, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice within the Care Services team.

  • Multiple positions, one ongoing and one fixed term 30 June 2026
  • 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
  • $97,614 p/a (pro-rata) + Super + Salary Packaging

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings empathy, professionalism, and a strong understanding of child welfare. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in case management and delivering therapeutic interventions for children and families.
  • Knowledge of the child protection and Care Services systems in Victoria.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with carers, families, and service partners.
  • A current Victorian Driver’s License.
  • A commitment to the Victorian Child Safe Standards and to fostering a child-safe culture in all aspects of your work.
